Hi, and welcome to my home based business blog. My name is Margaret Bourke and I hail from Limerick, Ireland.

My adult life started with a Business and Finance degree from the University of Limerick. Subsequent to that I had a number of jobs where I worked as an accountant for various different types of organisations. I was never very happy in any of them which is why I had so many changes.

I got married seven years ago in Oct 2002. Within a year we had our first child. I now have two children, six year old David and four year old Emily. When the children were small I worked part-time. This was great while they were small as I was able to spend more time with them.

As time went by my part-time income was not enough for me. My husband suggested we cut back our spending. I thought – spending is not the problem – I need to earn more!

Changing to a full time position was an option. However I was not happy to settle even for that level of earning. I wanted the chance to earn some real money. I didn’t want to be dependant on others any more. I also was ready for a challenge. Children grow up very quickly and after the first few years there are increasing times when they are gone doing their own thing. So I had more time to chase my dream.

I wanted something that was flexible so I could be there for my kids when they needed me and also that paid well. Not a lot to ask!!

I started my research on the internet. I have to admit to having been taken in by a number of get rich quick promises. I had however signed up for information on one particular opportunity. I started getting emails with info on the opportunity and it looked very good, however having been burnt already and having spent a lot of money foolishly, I hesitated.

Eventually I signed up and haven’t regretted it for one moment since. I am on my way to living my dream. My wish list hadn’t been too optimistic after all!!
